Language Access/Justice
Everyone has the right to communicate and be understood. This is the guiding principle of Language Justice, and of Communication Essentials LLC. Through our solutions, projects and programs, we endeavor to ensure a more equitable, just, and fair access not only to services, but also to the community.
For this purpose, we support our partners in developing and implementing Language Access Plans, as well as developing concrete and impactful projects, such as:
Key Examples
- —With the Lancaster Police Association, we created multilingual informational videos to bridge the communication gap between officers and the community.
—With Franklin & Marshall College, we coordinated multicultural community outreach, recruitment and data gathering for a COVID-19 research project.
—With Lancaster United Way, we were able to provide free language services to organizations that served the Lancaster community.
—And we're still working on more exciting projects with School Districts, the City, and many more!
